Description
Welcome to my attempt at making a viable melee psyker for end game difficulty.
Everything is subject to change as I try to optimize more.
The Game Plan!
Scrier's Gaze is essential for staying alive as it gives both damage resistance and toughness regeneration alongside other useful buffs, therefore its important to give it as much of an uptime as possible through the use of Warp Siphon .
When at max stacks warp siphon reduces the cooldown of scriers to about 17s (even further with Psykinetic's Aura), reaching max stacks is very easy with the help of Psychic Vampire paired with Puppet Master and the enormous amount of enemies present on auric difficulty.
The other important part of the build is having high crit chance, landing a critical weakpoint kill with melee will trigger Mettle , Warp Expenditure , Perfect Timing, By Crack of Bone and Empathic Evasion all at the same time and multiple times for each enemy cleaved.
As much as I'd like to run Essence Harvest waves of Crushers tend to be the biggest roadblock and having Vulnerable Minds brings down the time to kill them by a noticeable amount.
Equipment!
The Greatsword is essentially what I had built around to begin with and has great blessings and good animations, just dont kill yourself with its wave after Scrier ends.
Your Ranged weapon is entirely supportive and ultimately isn't really important on what you choose to use but I do recommend having a weapon with high mobility. LasPistol is my favorite but revolver is better for handling crushers.
Toughness Curios are best because all the restorative skills are percentage based but I do think having one for stamina is important on psyker since he only has a base stamina of 1 (2 with minor node) quadrupling it with the curio alone.
