Description
For New Psykers:
Leveling up Psyker can be a struggle. You won’t have most of your important tools until level 20+, at least, and staves rely heavily on maxed stats and blessings to perform well in higher difficulties. To that end, Karien and Hexis have both written up talent guides to help new players push through those difficult early levels. Both focus on using Assail and melee/guns to shore up the weaknesses of pre-30 Psykers.
Karien’s Assail Gunker
This build relies largely on Assail for warp damage, paired with a Bolt Pistol (due to the aforementioned weak staves). Venting Shriek will help you manage peril if it gets too high.
To quote Karien, “You can also try bleed swapping by throwing shards and swapping to the Bolt Pistol while they are in mid flight.” This will work on the Force Greatsword’s special attack as well.
