Description
This is my autogun build I've been running around with. I find the Jopall regiment strangely fascinating as a concept, and I also adore the idea of a PDF trooper making it into the warband somehow. So this is kinda me larping I guess lol.
Weapons:
Munitorum Mk III Shock Maul Very fun to bonk heretics with. Skullcrusher and High Voltage ensure good damage on single targets, and it manages hordes very well. A little clunky but gets the job done.
Vraks Mk V Infantry Autogun This one has the highest DPS of the 3 variants, boasting an insane ROF. However, it can be a pain to keep on target. I would stick to short controlled bursts, only mowing down hordes if you have a surplus of ammo. Dumdum and Deathspitter keep the damage coming. Just be wary about ammunition supplies.
Any autogun really works here. I like the vigilants, and I know some people enjoy braced. Use what your heart desires, or whatever you can scrounge up on the battlefield.
Talents:
I'm not gonna go super in depth, a lot is self explanatory. But I will talk about some key parts of the tree.
Krak Grenades: Are solely here because of the roving bands of Crushers and Bulwarks roaming around. The Shock Maul deals with both threats when only a few are present, but in higher difficulties it never seems to be just one or two of these types of enemies. Kraks also give us solid monstrosity damage. Shredders aren't a bad choice. I just feel the shock maul handles hordes easily enough.
Focus Target: I took this because I feel I get better overall DPS with it. Marksman Focus is not a bad choice either, and you will definitely feel your autogun punching harder. However I tend to engage a lot in melee too, and found while I wasn't losing Marksman Focus stacks like I once was pre bound by duty, I wasn't benefitting at all from my capstone unless I began shooting once more.
Not a groundbreaking build but I just wanted to share my love of shock mauls and autoguns.
