The idea is i have given away a lot of the melee bonuses, kinetic deflect and melee boost, as well as empathetic evasion to allow the most amount of lighting shots from the staff as possible. The only exception to this is inner tranquility i gave up for essence harvest for a bit extra toughness since there's no empathetic evasion. With this, you can get 11 fully charged shots off from RMB on the staff before you have to pop your venting shriek if you hit nothing. Battle meditation will make it far more than 11 since in a real game youll be killing things which will quell you passively. The only thing i can really see changing would be the above mentioned keystones, or switching Soul Stealer for quietude. I just went with the standard blessing on electrostaff, i would be curious about surge....but if it ain't broke, dont fix it.

For melee i went with the blaze force greatsword, specifically the vi, mostly cause its sweeping arc is good for horde clear on light attack and itll help you stack soulblaze. The block to thrust tech can still threaten crushers, and wreck maulers even with the loss of melee dmg.

Curios is strict toughness, with some gunner resistance due to lack of EE. Also obviously cooldown reduction to stack with Seer's and psykinetic aura
