Aggressive frontline controller built around Power Maul + Rumbler burst.

Use Power Maul to anchor the frontline, clear hordes, and stack Skullcrusher. Open most fights in melee: control the first wave, stagger elites as they walk in, and only swap to Rumbler once you’ve stabilised the immediate space around you. Power Surge heavies are your go‑to into Flak/Carapace in melee; use them to bonk Crushers, Bulwarks and Maulers whenever they get close, then kite out and swap to ranged.

Rumbler is your elite/special/boss finisher. With Unyielding damage, reload talents and Blaze Away IV, think in short volleys instead of isolated shots: fire 2–3 grenades in quick succession into clumped elites, gunners or specials, then stow it once the threat is gone. Blast Zone IV plus high Blast Radius means you aim for the ground and walls near targets, not just center‑mass: use the huge AoE to delete packs, stagger chargers off teammates, and cover rezes.

Play just behind the squishier teammates when shooting and just in front of them when mauling. In mixed waves, maul the front of the horde to keep it pinned, then step back half a screen and Rumbler the densest part of the pack or the gunners behind it. Against bosses/daemonhosts, build Skullcrusher and DoTs safely with Power Maul first, then rotate out of melee and dump Rumbler volleys while your reload buffs and Blaze Away stacks are up.

Don’t spam grenades on trash-only hordes: let the Maul do the work and save Rumbler ammo for elites, specials, Reapers and monsters. Your job is to make space, delete the scariest enemies on demand, and turn every good angle into an explosive kill zone with Blaze Away + Blast Zone.
