Description
The Penultimate Range Picker build for havoc.. the default setup is with scrier's gaze.. this is the setup for a really good team with good positioning/anti ranged output.. if your team is not.. as smooth per say.. Then this build is easily augmented to go Bubble shield all the way to Sanctuary, the spare point is for Vulnerable Minds and you should run a different surge staff and combat blade with 25% carapace/5% crit on the staff and 25% unyielding/5%crit on the blade instead of double breakpoints in the default setup.. the reason for that is bubble will obviously net a substantial crit loss and you need the extra 5% crit on both to reach the minimum threshold(60%) These setups are the only way you should run this Havoc Surge Range Picker build. The reason you go Warp Siphon even in the default setup that uses Scrier's Gaze is that with Warp Nexus on a Surge staff.. your crit is more than adequate(hitting 60-65% base at high peril.. 80-85% afters SG).. so being able to basically not worry about peril continuously makes you a very potent free cost ranged team member.. With Warp Siphon you can free cast your surge staff for 10seconds every 10seconds(you don't need to really peril manage in this build).. and that is a massive advantage.. that will not only net you very high single target damage but also the damage buff from warp siphon pretty much compensate for the loss of maintained crit. This is a very high single target damage build that has basically non stop free smite flashing and easy mode armour kill, constantly sweeping through trash whilst weave casting.. keeps global uncanny going non stop and combined with penetration of the soul.. makes you an effective team ranged armour killer.. not to mention that combat blade + surge staff = INSANELY safe weave casting and general mobility.
