Run Penetrating Flame on Purg for rotted armour if you need.. personally I think you're better off running a zealot flamer(the penetrating flame on it is twice as strong as purgatus's version).. Nexus is your best for most content.
I used to run assail but with the buffs to the bolstered shield and cooldown reduction.. you don't need to you can use the walls to gain distance on ranged pretty easily.. In havoc you could run bubble i spose but i don't play purg in havoc.. well not anymore at least.
