Description
A very effective right click spammer build.. as you know I don't exploit.. so this isn't some exploit build.. it does a lot of damage by spamming click because that's the focus here.. right click surge builds.. can actually perform very well.. provided you play them properly.. you should always combo cast instead of just straight up spamming.. you shouldn't spam first a density of heavier targets after you have properly debuffed them. I am fully away that the surge blessing doesn't affect the right click, that's not why it's present here instead of nexus.. sure.. you could get an average of 10% more crit here for stronger right clicks.. the problem with that logic is.. debuffing happen a lot slower(which matters for combo casting) and more importantly.. you will be weak at range picking at LONG range without surge.. even without nexus present here.. we have a nice cool 70% crit with scrier's gaze active.. so 80% vs 70% in a right click build.. it's not that big of a difference in dps here on something that can't double shot.. it's better to take surge blessing to round out the build.. because with surge blessing.. that means you will double bolt AT LEAST two thirds of the time.. which is going to really be good here given you are running Warp Siphon.. which gives you more damage/better break points. The other reason why surge blessing is paramount here is it allows you to run a fairly mobile option like mark 2 dueling sword.. so that you can bolt/push attack hordes down easily. if you don't run surge.. you don't do enough bolt output to achieve that which would force you into a less mobile melee option unfortunately.
This is THE ONLY ELECTROKINETIC STAFF BUILD THAT RUNS FLURRY!
How it is played: so.. basically.. combo cast until you are max stacks of flurry.. then maintain flurry by combo casting at least once every 4.5 seconds.. you should in ranged encounters.. use the advantage of flurry to lock yourself into channeled force often during these encounters. so that you can burst down ranged enemies.. when it comes to trash clear.. DO NOT WORRY ABOUT DEBUFFING.. dont' bother with como casting.. just right click spam till you're blue in the face.. there is no point in debuffing amost trash/chaff targets.. as they will die in 1-2 hits anyways in groups of 2.. so yeah.. just spam on trash.. once heavy enough elites start mounting.. then you combo cast or burst bolt the target(depending on how thick we're talking -- if it's a lot of crushers.. combo cast debuff pretty much nonstop until all are dead.. mixing in pokes to speed things up.. if it's groups of maulers.. burst debuff the closest ones and right click spam until enough are dealt with that you can channeled force burst bolt them down)
VERY IMPORTANT: You can play the scrier's portion of this one or two ways.. usually what i do is only worry about reaching 10-15 stacks and then drop it and secondary spam until the warp unbound ends.. or like if a monster shows ups i try to make it to 30 stacks so i can combo cast until it's fully debuffed and then drop into warp unbound and secondary spam.. the second way is to not worry about stacks at all. cast until it enters warp unbound and combo cast like crazy until WU ends.. Personally.. I do both depending on the situation. It's up to you.. Umm.. yeah.. warp siphon kind of gives you a really strong and easy peril management. like you just don't have to worry about anything.. combo casting/secondary spamming don't come without caveats though. since the emphasis in this build is not bolting.. you don't maintain immunity as much(i mean you still do.. but you have noticeable breakups in it).. so you it's important to play around cover.. nice thing about secondaries is you don't have to worry about staying out of cover.. pop in an out while casting.. it's stupid simple.
