Description
Made this Cyberpunk "MaxTac Netrunner" build out of boredom to break from the usual mold that was Psyker staffs.
Turns out, it does a pretty good job of handling threats while also being very fun and versatile of options that isn't simply charge right click, left click. If you're experienced player who knows how to dodge and weave (i.e. knows how play the Hive Scum Class successfully), you will find this to be a fun hack slash, shoot, and head pop experience while going into the fray.
Not a 100% full indepth guide, but here are some of the Cyberpunk "Quickhacks/Attributes" you can expect from this build
- System Collapse: Brain Rupture + Kinetic Flayer
- Overheat + Spillover (Spread hack): Perilous Combustion + Wildfire
- Sandevistan: Empathic Evasion + Mettle
- "Ready, Rested, Reloaded": Surety of Arms
Weapons for our Cyberpunk is our trusty Katana (Catachan Mk IV "Devil's Claw" Sword) and SMG (Ius Mk IV Shredder Autopistol)
Both weapons are in-theme of CP2077 and also have a decent crit rate, especially the Shredder Autopistol, making the need to dodge shooters unnecessary via Empathic Evasion as you hose down the Gonks in front of you and takes advantage of Crit talents: Mettle and Perfect Timing further aided and boosted by Scrier's Gaze . The ability to parry via Catachan Sword also protects you and eliminates Maniacs if they decide to throw a surprise posse of Maniacs your way
Soulstealer , Warp Expenditure , and Mettle will be your methods in keeping toughness up as you slash across a field of enemies
In summary, the objective is to spam Scrier's gaze which you can either crit mow a crowd OR take advantage of Kinetic Resonance in that moment to "System Collapse" special threats in the room in rapid succession. the resulting peril will trigger Warp Rider and One with the Warp bonuses to make use of. Vice Versa, when not on high peril, Just a Dream and Kinetic Deflection will offer some protection during the low tides of peril.
