Kinetic Strike
 Psyker Build - Warhammer 40k: Darktide 

An EXTREMELY SAFE defensive, high control EK Staff build.. It can handle any content.. havoc/maelstrom/events etc.. the control it has is bar none.. like Shock Maul.. like.. not even specced for max output is already disgusting.. it is SUCH A STRONG weapon in the hands of a Psyker because of A) all the damage scaling B) the smite talents affect it(Charged Strike being the big outlier here).. and C) the mobility of warp speed + defensive options like kinetic deflection make it a perfectly fine weapon choice.. where as on many classes it would be kind of slow to use unless you have the safey of zealot/arby(but there are better options so why?).. but like i'd never use this on them and especially not vet.. it's a weapon that feels very purpose built for psyker tbh.. so the special attack on the shock maul counts as a heavy attack.. so it's just electro dots out the fucking tang.. like.. it's nuts how much single target damage the special attack does on Psyker because of this. ALSO Enfeeble makes both the shock and electro on maul + charged strike happen twice as fast reaching max stacks basically instantly and makes them take additional damage.. Having Falter in this build makes right clicks on EK staff guarantee a stun on any target regardless of the action they taking(obviously not a monster or boss.. BUT EVERYTHING else will stagger.. including mutants).. the 90% part of falter.. so some WEIRD REASON affects the staff specials.. which is hilarious LOL.. you can bolt/bash stun lock pretty much anything.. it's really quite hilarious. This build has a lot of survival options.. moderately high damage.. it's just a great all round build. it takes skill to play but you are rewarded for having a build that can clutch much better than other psyker builds(this is honestly one of Psykers best clutching options. So falter makes everything for EK staff to smite do FAR MORE STAGGER.. i'm not kidding and the shock maul with overwhelming force on psyker makes sense because you're using it only ever defensively and it will STUN A LOT OF TARGETS.. if i do heavy sweeps into shit while bolting.. it often will stagger like 5 of the 20 enemies and it makes them take extra damage because of the shock debuff. sweeping heavy rushes with bolting CLEARS big time. this weapon cleaves ALOT and so triple shock dots just going everywhere CLEARS.. very fun build. OH and smite flashing is so much stronger in this build.. you can actually pretty reliably grap poxbursters.. instead of the bullshit that's been happening because their stagger values are out of fucking wack vs targeting.
