Build Summary
We utilize the Capacitance regeneration we get from nodes such as Redline Capacitors and Flux Conduit Build-Up (insanely reliable with the Shred blessing on the Branx Mk XI Paired Transonic Blades) to be able to spam Chordclaw Strike, which lets you quickly dispose of any enemy, including bosses. For the ranged option I decided to go with the Branx Mk XI Phosphor Blast Pistol for the unique Phosphor debuff and burn stacks from Infernus, making the weapon function as our special-sniping and damage increase tool; however, I will explore alternative options below.
Non-Infernus version of Branx Mk XI Phosphor Blast Pistol
If you're not a big fan of Infernus, you can specialize the Phosphor Blast Pistol into more of a support/sniping tool with the following setup:
- Perks: Flak & Maniac
- Blessings: Man-Stopper & Surgical
Alternative Ranged: Branx Mk CV Galvanic Rifle & Branx Mk IV Arc Rifle
The Galvanic Rifle is a better specialist-sniping weapon, but is less reliable against bosses than the Phosphor Blast Pistol with Infernus. Its boss damage depends on landing weakspot hits, while the Phosphor Blast Pistol can rely on Burn stacks for consistent boss damage. Pick it if you're confident in your aim. Recommended generalist loadout:
- Perks: Unyielding & Reload Speed
- Blessings: Opening Salvo & Trickshooter
The Arc Rifle is very efficient even without any investment into electrocution on the talent tree. Build it like this:
- Perks: Flak & Maniac
- Blessings: Enhanced Voltaic Arcs & Dumdum
Flexible Node
Weakness Analysis Doctrine has good uptime thanks to out skull applying burn stacks to enemies, but you can swap it and invest into safety (Adaptive Combat Engram) or simply pick up more ammo through Ammo-Cell Augury if you REALLY like to shoot. For missions with the Pox Gas condition, you can swap it out for Ablative Wards.
Recommended Mods
There are two mods which make the Branx Mk XI Paired Transonic Blades much comfier to use:
- Transonic Blades Glow and Chordclaw Glow Recolor - custom glow colors for the Transonic Blades. My personal settings:
Stance 1: R 0 | G 40 | B 100
Stance 2: R 40 | G 0 | B 100
Other: Off | Off | Off | Disabled (Vanilla)
- A La Mode (Weapon Mode Indicator) - highlights the icon of the Transonic Blades in the bottom right weapon bar with a different color to indicate the single target/anti-armor mode.
