Description
Trying out maximizing toughness generation for team via Power Overflow. Maximum toughness, max regeneration to keep us capped as often as possible. I haven't done any testing to see if its practical to get all of these going at the same time, just tracking the math here.
Restore Based on our Toughness: 35.1%/s + 7% per hit
- Total: 35.1% of our toughness per second with Advanced Combat Doctrines ; 25.6% without.
- Entropic Transfer 3%/s
- Surge-Extension 5%/s
- Data Sensor Protocol 1.6%/s
- Auto-Repair Doctrines (5 charges) 5.5%/s (will have at most 4 when Advanced Combat Doctrines is running, so 5%)
- Omnissian Recharge Litany 3%/s
- Power Redistribution Uplink 2.5%/s
- Binary Ballistics Protocol 5%/s
- Restoration Protocol 10%/s
- Confident Strike 7% per chained hit (modeled at 1/second in the math below)
- Servo-Core Recharge Engine 5% per weakspot kill (excluded from math below)
- Inspiring Barrage didnt model this (excluded from math below)
Flat Regen: 7 per second in combat (3.5 in h40)
Resurgence gives flat 7(3.5) toughness per second while in melee combat to all members
Max Toughness: 249? (174? in h40)
- Base: 100(55)
- Resurgence +50
- curio 3x 17%
- curio 3x 5%
Math:
So with Power Overflow we give 25% of our restoration to each ally in coherency. Suppose all the buffs are going and we are successfully chaining one hit per second, we're looking at 35.1% of our toughness with ACD and 32.6% without, so 10.53% of our toughness restored to each player. Havoc40 reduces base toughness by 45, and toughness regen by 50%.
((max toughness - havocMod) * restore% / 100 * 0.25) + (flat regen * havocMod)
Total raw Toughness gained per player in auric: 25.3 (19.4 without Advanced Combat Doctrines running) (self 90.9/67.2)
Total raw Toughness gained per player in h40: 17.0 (12.9 without Advanced Combat Doctrines running) (self 62.9/46.3)
Damage Taken:
Poxwalkers do 84 damage in damnation, and h40 is 1.5x, so 126. 3.3(7.4 in h40) seconds to recover from a hit in ranged, 4.3s(9.8s) in melee. For ourselves it is 1(2) second with ACD/ranged, and 1.2(2.7) seconds in melee.
Caveats:
- I didn't include Inspiring Barrage or Servo-Core Recharge Engine as they would be too unpredictable to model in my opinion.
- Ammo is very limited in h40, Advanced Combat Doctrines being active means our contribution is limited. We can delay the capacitance burn by firing a single shot and reloading, however this means we have no offensive contribution, and then our buffs will fall off within a few seconds.
- Using the ranged weapon dramatically reduces the uptime of ACD. Focusing more on capacitance regeneration would increase the uptime of Advanced Combat Doctrines, would that increase overall toughness restoration?
- Is Advanced Combat Doctrines even worth all of the points it takes to get it, probably not for h40 given ammo constraints. More attack speed to increase chaining restoration probably gives the same restoration and more offensive contribution.
