Top Tier Support Skitarii (/w Guide)
 Skitarii Build - Warhammer 40k: Darktide 

WHAT THIS BUILD IS:

Protect the weakness of the flesh at the core of the strike-team as you generate absurd amounts of Toughness at all times while also providing DR and debuffing the enemy.

On top of constant passive toughness regen, generate insane amounts of burst toughness and sustain as you slaughter the non-believers, hereteks, corrupted and the foul innovators that threaten the sanctity of the Machine God. 

Able to effectively engage in either frontline melee combat or back-line special hunter, as the Omnissiah demands efficiency above all things.

Excel in your support role while still dealing incredibly high amounts of damage, keeping up and in some cases surpassing even the top "meta" DPS builds.

WHAT DIFFICULTY CAN THIS HANDLE:

This build can easily smash and excel in Auric Maelstrom difficulties, as well as Havok levels 1-20

I have been unable to fully test this build at the higher havok levels. While I think it would still be extremely effective in how it preforms, Im unsure how hard the build would be hit by the havok 25+ general lack of available ammo, even with the Kantrael Mk X Heavy Laspistol fantasic ammo stores coupled with Ammo-Cell Augury . 

I will edit this as I continue to test at the highest difficulties, but suffice to say this build performs extremely well in all of the content that 95% of the playerbase engages with.

HOW IT WORKS:

We utilize Power Overflow's ability to give 25% of ALL toughness generated while full to your team, in combination with Resurgence and your curious' +30% Toughness Regen to lay down a constant background regen of toughness, getting maximum amount of regen by running 3x 17% toughness Curious, all with +5% additional toughness, abusing the fact that all our toughness regen abilities are percentage based.

We then continue to generate massive amounts of additional toughness regen for our entire team utilizing Restoration Protocol , Superior Defence Engrams , Servo-Core Recharge Engine , Power Redistribution Uplink , and Auto-Repair Doctrines.

Reassuringly Accurate  and Confident Strike  blessings on your weapons round out the kit, generating even more toughness by destroying hereteks and non-believers.

With all systems activated, you and your team in coherency will be able to withstand incredible amounts of punishment without even noticing, tanking pox gas and map hazards, gunner harassment and everything else short of face tanking massive burst damage.

WEAPONS AND BLESSINGS:

Our main source of burst damage comes from the Kantrael Mk X Heavy Laspistol and its insane baked-in crit chance, crit damage and its ability to completely melt bosses and unyielding. Because we are using Advanced Combat Doctrines in combination with the gun's crazy Weakspot Crit damage, we will be deleting anything we feel deserves it while generating both increased constant toughness regen through Restoration Protocol as well as burst toughness from Reassuringly Accurate 

NOTE: However you feel about mods in this game, I HIGHLY suggest you use the "Full Auto" mod by ItsAlxl whenever you use the Las Pistols to save yourself from some serious joint pain. It makes using these amazing weapons so much more enjoyable without feeling like youre somhow "cheating".

When the heretical vermin do manage to close ranks and engage in blessed melee combat, we will be ready with our sacred Branx Mk III Arc Maul , wading into their weakling flesh while generating constant additional toughness in the form of Confident Strike . Because we apply the Electrocuted debuff to anyone we hit with our maul, we will be priming them for a follow up Arc from our weapon's activation or for any additional followers of the Omnissiah who we fight alongside, as well as debuffing all the enemies we strike with 10% brittleness thanks to System Shock 

CONCLUSION:

My first build submission here in my 2000+ hours of playing Darktide.

For those of us that enjoy a more supportive or healer role, for those of use already tiring of Cord Claw spam or Arc Rifling the entire run, and for those who just want to buck the meta a bit but still be able to keep up with the top builds, I hope you all enjoy it as much as I am.
