Description
What this build is:
- This is a very comfy, general-purpose build that focuses on maximizing the ridiculous DPS & symbiotic buffing potential of your servoskull.
- With Noospheric Command , your servoskull will fire an 2s salvo. On Auric difficulty, a single salvo will reliably kill before considering the buffs it gets:
- Dreg Ragers/Shotgunners/Gunners, Scab Shotgunners/Gunners/Plasma Gunners/Flamers/Bombers/Trappers, Tox Flamers/Bombers, Pox Hounds, Snipers
- With Noospheric Command , your servoskull will fire an 2s salvo. On Auric difficulty, a single salvo will reliably kill before considering the buffs it gets:
- This build incorporates plenty of toughness regen and damage reduction to allow you to be a very confident mid/frontline player.
- For maximum cheese, I recommend looking into mods such as "Auto Mark" by crankyboeuf. This mod does a lot of work and makes it seem like you have 3/4ths of a player sitting right on your shoulder.
- Noospheric Command says it uses 25% capacitance, but it can proc as long as you have some capacitance - it doesn't need a full 25% to work.
Talent tree:
YOUR SERVOSKULL CAN PROC EVERY PASSIVE IN THIS BUILD. This is a HUGE consideration. Not only are these skills buffing you, but they're buffing the skull. You and the skull are in a symbiotic relationship, buffing eachother and doing more and more damage together.
LEFT TREE:
- Noospheric Command we need this, this thing is the whole point of the build.
- Medicae Servo-Skull is so useful it's a must-take. Being able to pick people up from range while still being in the fight is massively valuable.
- Satiated Steel yes, it does less damage than spamming Chordclaw Strike with Slice and Dice. But the uptime is much better, allowing you to more consistently use chordclaw and keep your charge high to spam Noospheric Command.
- Axial Slash big slap attack that does a ton of damage, great as a panic button against ragers or being surrounded.
- Sequenced Charge this will be popping a lot with redline capacitors.
- Data Sensor Protocol we love our support passives, don't we folks?
- Redline Capacitors hands down the best keystone.
- Resource Optimisation Canticles Take this.
- Surge-Extension even more toughness regen.
RIGHT TREE:
- Meat and potatoes of the Chudskull.
- Binary Ballistics Protocol toughness on elite kills, which your skull can handle while you're fighting hordes.
- Threat Detection Imperative ranged kills giving you +20% toughness damage reduction (your skull will be proccing this constantly).
- Superior Defence Engrams ranged kills giving you +5% toughness/second (again, skull will be proccing this constantly).
- Hybrid Combat Covenant your melee kills give your skull +15% ranged damage.
- Galvanic Marking Array +20% damage for 15 seconds, decaying -5% at a time?! Insane. Take this.
- Reactor Coil Recharge Alright this one has some details to it. This thing can proc multiple times, which is what makes it strong. Killing multiple trash mobs with a single slash of your melee by cutting their heads off will give you a huge % of your capacitance back.
TOP TREE:
- Auto-Repair Doctrines unbelievable value and immediately accessible from the core.
- Galvanized Coating innate damage resistance and stun immunity. Sure, melee damage reduces your capacitance.. but this build has so many ways to get capacitance back it's a non-issue. You shouldn't be getting smacked in melee multiple times over.
- Electro-Strike Conduit taking this to get Augmented Power-Cycle because the alternative (Moebian Conductor) is a bit less impactful.
- System Shock synergizes with Electro-Strike Conduit.
- Resurgence This one needs some explaining. Now, in combat, instead of getting no toughness regen while in combat, you get slow toughness regen while in combat. With 3 allies in coherency & x3 30% Toughness Regeneration Speed substats on your curios you can get up to 7/s in combat. Your allies will be gaining 3.75/s while in combat!
- If you want to know more about it, check out the "Skitarius Talents & Mechanics" guide by kuli on Steam.
- Augmented Power-Cycle Massive skill, free capacitance all of the time for doing absolutely nothing. Must-take.
BOTTOM TREE:
- Progressive Plating Matrix is worth getting, and Servo-Core Recharge Engine is synergizing with our Reactor Coil Recharge.
Weapons:
- Weapons in the build are mostly up to user preference. The Branx Mk XI Phosphor Blast Pistol has great synergy with the servoskull due to the servoskull's ability to maintain burn stacks on targets, which is especially useful for bosses. Branx Mk IV Arc Rifle is another solid choice.
- Branx Mk XI Paired Transonic Blades blades has a good moveset and is effective. The one thing this build doesn't have a lot of is electrical proc (the top tree), so while the Branx Mk III Arc Maul is a fantastic weapon, it doesn't synergize as quite well here as with a more dedicated build. Transonic blades will also make it very easy to proc Reactor Coil Recharge over and over. Use what's more comfortable, but after trying both... Branx Mk XI Paired Transonic Blades has been more comfortable for me to use.
Curios:
- Again, you can be pretty flexible here. I'm going for toughness because of the ridiculous amount of toughness buffs this build is incorporating, along with ability regen because this build really profits off of spamming Noospheric Command .
- With Resurgence you can effectively build Toughness Regeneration Speed on your curios. This allows you to gain ~7 toughness per second WHILE IN COMBAT if you are in coherency with your 3 allies.
