You are the damage dealer, take out any Elites and Specials that appear. Always save your special ability for when large hordes of Elites and Specials show up, aiming for the head allows you to eliminate them all in under five seconds, as sustained fire deals increasing damage. Don't waste ammo on hordes of weak enemies. Your Skull Servitor revives fallen allies while also helping you deal extra damage to nearby Elites and Specials.
