A great frontline Skitarii build (with a focus on chordclaw and capacitance)
 Skitarii Build - Warhammer 40k: Darktide 

Hello! This is a build I developed with the simple goal of trying to generate lots of capacitance for the chordclaw ability; however after many games (and a little refining) I have found this to be more then just a fun build and is a very effective frontline melee skitarii build that I thought I would share with others :). 

Of course change the build however you want to what you prefer.

Melee
I have opted to use the Branx Mk XI Paired Transonic Blades here mostly because of their versatility, but also because their horde clear mode has great cleave (great for Capacitor Reclamation Loop) and with some crit focused blessings/refinements It's also good at activating talents like Flux Conduit Build-Up and Electro-Strike Conduit, along with activating the weapons juicy innate crit bonus. 

Ranged
I have opted to use the Branx Mk CV Galvanic Rifle over other ranged options simply because it is a great weapon for sniping specials and other far off ranged enemies like gunners (also for variety sake as I often use other guns on the skitarii). It also has a fairly quick reload when compared to the Branx Mk IV Arc Rifle; and with the chordclaw ability uptime this build provides you don't need the boss killing potential that the Branx Mk XI Phosphor Blast Pistol provides.

Ability
The real meat and potatoes of this build (the rations of the build if you will). 
I pretty much use the horizontal swipe whenever I have a few elites or more in front of me, or when I am at/close to max ability stacks and have a ton of fodder enemies on me. I opt to use the single strike chordclaw attack when I have a crusher in front and I know i dont need to stagger other enemies with the horizontal swipe or to quickly pick off any monstrosities. 

If you really want to increase the amount of charges you generate, you can take the talent Satiated Steel instead of Slice and Dice. However I have found that you usually generate enough charges without Satiated steel; plus Slice and dice provides great boss killing potential and is handy when you need to do multiple swipes against particularly chunky hordes filled with ragers and other elites.

Blitz
The servo-skull with Noospheric Command is great for a frontline build as it can be quite troublesome to snipe a pesky special whilst you have a few crushers on you; this way you can tell the skull to kill that flamer or trapper whilst you can still focus on those crushers and shotgunners in your face. Plus with all the capacitance we are generating you'll be able to often make use of the skull.
