First and foremost: DON'T BRING THIS INTO RANDOM H40 PARTIES

The Vigilant Autoguns, in their current state, suck ass. Yes, they're usable, but there's way better options with better damage output, crit/headshot multipliers and ammo management. And Advanced Combat Doctrines not only still has issues with hitreg, but still also depletes all your charges every now and then, making it too unpredictable and wasteful for any consistancy.

  • "Then why make a build  with it, bozo?"

Fuck the meta, that's why. But only use this build given that your party approves of it, otherwise, don't ever use it on a party with randoms.

With that out of the way:

This build is fairly usable and decent given you have the skills to make the most out of it. You'll prioritize any and all ranged specials with your ult, otherwise, you'll be using your melee most of the time, which is very capable of handling all enemies with ease.

Melee:

Choices:

  1. Branx Mk XI Paired Transonic Blades: Very versatile, very respectable damage against all enemies, use the perks and blessings in the build.
  2. Catachan Mk III Combat Blade: Use whichever mark you prefer, but you'll use this one instead for the added mobility. I'd recommend for it: +25% dmg vs Unyielding & Carapace. As for blessings: Lacerate and Mercy Killer.

Ranged:

We'll be using either the Agripinaa Mk IX Vigilant Autogun or Columnus Mk III Vigilant Autogun with the listed perks and blessings. The Graia Mk VII Vigilant Autogun, although more ammo efficient, requires a slightly different build. However, although it can one-shot headshot Gunners, it falls behind killing Reapers, which are a very high priority targets.

Talents and strategy:

You'll reserve the ult mainly to pick off gunners and specials. Assuming you don't get cucked by the instantly-drained capacitance bug, you'll be able to always have it on standby, or easily refill it with Higher Purpose.

Using Flensing Protocols with Servo-Sinew Surge and Honed Dissector allows you to comfortably switch between melee and ranged, as we need crits both for ranged headshots and proccing Electro-Strike Conduit to stun any elite (specially crushers) that would otherwise pose a threat.

The Medicae Servo-Skull is mainly a flex point, but insurance nonetheless. And there's no point in not taking Noospheric Command, it's too good to miss out in any difficulty, as you can trigger it to dispatch any special/gunner if your ult vanished, feel lazy, or if you get downed/netted, you can trigger it to cull some chaff as you await rescue.

And don't bring the Purgator Servo-Skull, please. As much as this is an off-meta build, the flamer skull offers too little for a grenade use someone else in the team could've used.
