Description
Havoc Tank Arbites Build for Havoc 21-30 after the changes in August 2026 Patch
This build is purely for permatanking any incoming damage. I creaated this build and it seems to work well on Havoc 20+ since we encounter walls of ranged enemies that take a single burst to melt our toughness bars. Works best if there's also a Shield Staff Psyker in your team, and at least 2 ranged DPS like Vet or Skitarii (who won't burn thru their ammo too quickly).
You want the enemy to focus DPS on you as you block (permanently unless you encounter a plethora of ranged enemies) while your ranged DPS teammates melt the enemies.
You can use any grenade that works best for you. You will want to keep the Mastiff - while keeping the shield up, it helps to get something to stop a Burster or a Trapper from approaching your team if they're focused on another direction. Break the Line helps when you're trapped and/or a bit far from your team. If you want, you can switch to Castigator's Stance, but I've seen Break the Line save my life multiple times.
I use the Bolter to snipe enemies or magdump on bosses, comes in handy oftenly. You can switch to another ranged weapon that suits your playstyle more. Ruthless Efficiency helps since Bolter is so damn slow, also helps friendly vet/skitarii. You can switch it with Breaking Dissent if you prefer.
