+PARRY
The devilsclaw parry is really satisfying and can topple most things if you pair enough crit with it so thats why we go piety tree. dont rely on the claw for parry kills rely on it as a tool to handle ragers maulers and sometimes crushers if your confident in your timing. Handling hordes shouldn't be a problem if you have the games core gameplay loop down just know we aren't playing martyrdom, so dont rush in hoping to survive i did what i could for toughness but you still need to know when to back off.
+MULTIKILL
The Mk3 boltgun is a really good weapon for horde management mixed with carapace stripping atleast from my experience. You can swap it to the Mk2b if you want more carapace damage but i think having an exploding mini-gun in your back pocket is helpful.
+DISRESPECT
bosses suck i hate bosses atleast until you realize they are fodder with the right build yes even the daemon host. Now dont get cocky and run in thinking you can handle everything thats not true, beasts of nurgle are gonna be your main issue because they dont melee as often as every other boss which is why you use your boltgun for him. Get the damage in run up behind him with your claw and prepare to deflect the tail work with your team on this one you can handle him solo if you dont mind getting a bit of corruption but i recommend falling in with your team. Now for every other boss, plague ogryns are super easy to handle and you can get the deflect rhythm down quickly. Chaos spawns are a good middle ground to teach you pacing, When they go for a grab dodge to the right of the grab and then deflect his flailing you can hold your own well if you practice. daemon host's may seem like scary dont fw me bosses and most of the time they are but they also are super easy with the right build now if you want to go host hunting go stealth bonk but if you get caught waking one with this build you atleast have everything you need to hold it off or even kill it dont panic and just time your parry with the swings the host should be your main focus.
+TIME OUT
The stunstorm is my go to panic button for regening stamina or just in general creating room but other nades should work for whatever you need them for.
Summary
this build is built around parrying but gives you the tools to help out in other areas like the boltgun for carapace hordes and stunstorm for revives or to give yourself room. the devilsclaw shreds hordes like nothing and can make bosses look stupid, ontop of that boltgun is also there to handle high density hordes in a panic. This is my first time creating a proper build so dont expect everything here to be entirely accurate or explained well HOWEVER i will try to update it the best i can.
