Old Weapon Specialist vet may still work with fast weapons, like Duelling Sword or tAxe. Bleed is taken for extra horde clear but is the weakest node. With Bring it Down being moved up, this also lets us take Precision Strikes (or Born Leader) and more ammo for the Bolter. Plasma Gun is also strong here, obviously.

Blitzes are case-by-case, if the map has armor (krak), melee packs of ragers, vanguards and bruisers (shredders), or mostly gunners (smoke).
