Description
Your Classic Bubble Wrap Psyker.
You clear hordes of light enemies, and throw bubbles up for your companions so they can stand in the open and shoot enemy gunners instead of huddling behind walls waiting for a more cracked character to roll out and vanish them.
Gameplay- Dont blow yourself up, paint the enemy blue until they disappear. Half charge your secondary to fire, use primary fire for its pushback to create space to then do more secondaries. Aim to Pop your bubble ONLY when you have 4-6 stacks of Warp Siphon up to ensure you have your bubble uptime maximized, as you will want that sucker available at all times. Because you do NOT have one of your get out of jail free abilities when it comes to peril, make sure you do not let that get too high. Aim to paint your targets up to 15 flame stacks to disolve them at best possible speed. You want to bubble at chokepoints where your team will get stuck into melee to maximize toughness replenishment on them, as well as immunize them from gunfire from areas they cannot reach until they breach the choke. Be aware of what parts of the map are wide open, and position your bubble in those areas devoid of cover so your teammates can cross with impunity through rains of gunfire that would otherwise stall out an advance.
Reminder- your flamestaff primary has a fairly significant stagger/knockback effect. use this to your advantage in keeping poxbombers well away from your team while they are distracted. Yes, they have been nerfed, but that does not make them any less capable of taking somebody alive down to dead status.
You are not the Shriek build psyker, you are not instantly deleting enemy hordes in their entirety. You are policing the pox-walkers and weaker enemies for your team so their ammo and attention can be spent on hostile specials/elites. Yes, you will inevitably end up killing plenty yourself, but you should be first and formost thinking of your team's needs, vulnerabilities, and advantages when positioning your bubbles, and where you allocate your attention flames. Your bubble can rescue a flagging teammate just as much as a Veteran Shout or a Zealot Chorus can. You should be thinking of how your bubble can make your teammates better killers, and only using the bubble for yourself exclusively for emergencies.
