Description
Summary
This is my favorite Recon Lasgun Veteran build in the game right now. This Ranged setup is Havoc 40 capable and it takes a good balance of defensive and offensive passives in the talent tree allowing any player to pick it up and succeed with it.
Playstyle
This build plays as a 90/10 split between ranged and melee. Using your melee weapon is more of an option because the ammo efficiency of a Recon Lasgun with Deadshot and Shock Trooper is insane. Additionally with Onslaught the Recon Lasgun becomes a solution to every problem that the game has to throw at you. Simply make sure you're weapon swapping to activate Weapons Specialist and Invigorated and dodging ranged attacks to get stamina from Duck and Dive and you'll have unlimited ammo.
Weapons
This build allows you to substitute your melee weapon for any weapon the Veteran has access to but there is no optimal substitute for the Recon Lasgun.
Build
You can substitute your Blitz and even your Ability to fit your preference, but outside of those it's hard to justify swapping any other passives.
