Description
This is a Havoc 40 ready build.
Your job is deleting Bosses, Elites and Specialists. You can flex into horde clear with your melee weapons, but that is a secondary role.
Notes:
- We're building around Redline Capacitors.
- Advanced Power Management gives us a great strength buff. You'll want to use Chord Claw every time you get to max stacks to keep this buff up in most scenarios. You'll likely run into enough Crushers and Maulers that this won't go to waste.
- Redline Capacitors + Resource Optimisation Canticles improves your Advanced Power Management buff, and the extra charges will come in handy with Havoc boss spam.
- Chord Claw is a powerful melee attack.
- Slice and Dice gives us a great stacking buff, useful when killing bosses.
- Probing Strikes is an okay option.
- In most scenarios, I'd rather kill the boss right now, than let it live long enough to justify the bleed from Probing Strikes.
- It is worth noting that the bleed from Probing Strikes has a unique bucket, and does not interfere with bleed being applied by other classes.
- I have mixed feeling about Axial Slash. It's hilarious in Auric, but I find a decent melee weapon is an adequate in its absence.
- You can spin your camera really fast to get AOE damage without Axial Slash, but I'm not sweaty enough to do that.
- Artificer Servo-Skull provides great utility, and enough damage by itself that I have no interest in Arc Grenades or Integrated Refraction Emitter.
- Medicae Servo-Skull will save runs, and help carry less experiences teammates through Havoc.
- Purgator Servo-Skull is useful if you abuse entity cap by rushing missions, and are forced to fight a great number of enemies all at once. Outside of that use case, it's a waste of shared limited resources.
- Noospheric Command is great, but I don't use it for this build. I find that my Phospor Blast Pistol is enough to deal with specials, but you wouldn't be wrong for choosing this.
- Foe-Render Creed is the best Aura.
- Ammunition Deposit is straight forward in how little it provides.
- Resurgence is a trap, and should never be taken in Havoc.
- Resurgence drops your Coherency Toughness Regeneration by 50%. That debuff stacks with hidden Havoc modifiers.
- Havoc 25+ drops it by 40%.
- Havoc 34+ drops it by 50%.
- Resurgence, provides ~1.87 toughness/s in full coherency, without TRS Curio perks.
- Resurgence, provides ~3.56 toughness/s in full coherency, with 3 TRS Curio perks.
- Resurgence, provides ~5.44 toughness/s to an Ogryn running Lynchpin in full coherency, with 3 TRS Curio perks.
- Keep in mind, the above are NOT percentages and represent the best case scenario.
- Resurgence drops your Coherency Toughness Regeneration by 50%. That debuff stacks with hidden Havoc modifiers.
- The Paired Transonic Blades are pretty good.
- The good Critical Hit Chance and fast attacks means you'll be apply electrocute and brittleness to enemies often.
- Spamming heavies makes you run faster.
- I sometimes run the Mechanicus Power Sword instead, it's a great alternative. There are other options that work on Skitarii as well, but I feel they require a longer explanation on how to make them work and I'm not currently inclined to do so.
- If you choose to use a different, slower weapon with lower critical hit chance, then you can drop System Shock and Overcharge Transfer Lattice for whatever makes you happy.
- The Phosphor Blast Pistol is an extremely good ranged weapon. It is ideal in a Specialist sniping role.
- Overcharge Transfer Lattice is an underrated survivability node. However, I think dropping it for Retribution Conduit makes a lot of sense if you're trying to squeeze more damage out of the build.
