Description
This is a Havoc 40 ready build. This is my take on the classic (and long outdated) Ogrynheimer. It is capable of trading hits in melee and clearing mixed horde.
Your job is smacking enemies in melee while holding threat, and firing the Rumbler at regular intervals for mixed horde damage. In a pinch, you can lean on your Rumbler to clear hordes, but you'll want to do this sparingly as ammo is limited.
Notes:
- The center-piece of this build is Lucky Bullet. After building stacks, you'll want to fire off a free rumbler shot then go back to slapping around enemies in melee.
- In Havoc, there are hidden modifiers that increase enemy hit mass, making most weapons much less effective against hordes. Explosions have infinite cleave, which allows them to bypass this issue.
- Big Boom and Power Surge's explosion radius buffs stack additively.
- If your Power Maul has the Power Surge blessing, its explosion radius buff will affect Frag Bomb. However, you must activate the special before the blitz goes off.
- Power Maul's special, when combined with Power Surge, can put max stacks of Skullcrusher on all enemies affected by the AoE.
- Steady Grip is extremely useful for building toughness if you have no enemies in melee.
- Batter and Shrapnel are both extremely useful for keeping Delight in Destruction stacks up.
