Fun lil build that was inspired by an old Mr. Unc vid, so full credit goes to him, it was in an older patch so i just scruffed something similar together. His video is ofc showcased under :)

With that being said, I've only tested it in "normal" auric, not maelstrom or havoc tested. And it was super fun to say the least :) a bit of a different off meta playstyle if your ever bored of the meta.

PLAYSTYLE:

Summed up version:

Agressive playstyle, charge ahead, clear elites and ranged for your team with knock downs and charged special attacks, clear specalists with rock or Kickback.

In depth version:

- Swing big shovel at horde = horde gone

- Slap shovel hard on top (special attack), charge it up, and smack those puny armorded elites on the head = elites gone

further note to elite slaying: you would think you cant hit those pesky Bulwarks with their big ogryn shields? think again big'un, just aim high for their head, charge up that special attack and its like their shield wasnt even there ;)

- Spot specalist on its way to take you and your teammates rashuns away? throw your pet rock at em big'un = specalist's gone

- Spot specalist or other dangerous elites, already too close and behind pesky horde, that blocks your pet rock? whip out your trusted Kickback and blast em away sah = tight/stressed situations gone

- And most importantly Big'un, RUN AS MUCH AS YOU CAN YA BIG BEAUTY, knock those hordes, elites and specalists down, stun those bosses, and close those distances in a mili second, to give them gunners a big ogryn hug! = problems gone

CONS/PROBLEMS WITH THE BUILD

- Range: Your only real long range weapon for snipers, gunners and such, is your pet rock, it can be a problem quickly if you dont have none in your back pocket. With that being said, this can easily be fixed by simply swapping out the Kickback, with the new Thugshot, or any other ranged weapons in mind.

- Defence: Your a big Ogryn, you can take the hits, but you will catch a few strays here and there, when target prioritizing an elite with your special shovel attack, while a small horde of lesser enemies are around them, theres obviously a few talents that helps with that, but you can easily get overwhelmed if you dont have a good enough defensive quiro, or simply just focus a little too hard on killing that one Mauler in the middle of the horde, so make some space, dodge and weave, block and push, and then find the gap to smash em in the head.

- Boss dmg: I find that you make large dmg to the boss when you time the charged heavy special attack at their head, but you only get a few of those off before you either get interrupted, or your team kills the boss for you, this build therefore lacks a high dps output against bosses.

- Daemonhosts & fast paced attacks against you: This is probably your biggest weakness, this build is not defensive to any extend, which means an angry daemonhost is your worst enemy with this build. Ragers and beserkers are fine and very killable since you have such big dmg and stun output, plus the Kickback as a last resort. Daemonhost is another story, this is where you will fall off the most. So i advise to avoid it at all times.

Yap Session:

I apologize if this was a mess to read or understand, this is literally my first of these build things, i tried my best to explain my thought process and playstyle. Idk if you can leave comments or feedback other than the upvote button, if you can PLEASE tell me what i could have done better.

Again, this is HEAVILY inspired by Mr. Unc, you all already know of him, but show him some love for this build.

Im not a pro Darktide player at all, so theres 100% a few ways to optimize this build to the fullest, ive just tried my humble opinion on a fun build i saw on the web, hope you enjoy :)
