The Iconic Tank build

This build is focused to optimise the “Iconic” side of the Ogryn. Otherwise, we will increase the Thoughness, the Crowd Control and the Loyalty of this unshakable “comrade” !

Gameplay

1 - Always behind your shield and tank everything.

 

We will be abble to tank a lot of damages from enemies by increasing our thoughness. Remember, we have “Thick Skin” which reduce damage taken

by 20% on toughness and health. So the more Thoughness the more your are resistant. We combine “Block efficiency” with our thougness to increase

our ability to hold our shield much longer, so we can stay mobile (slower but not immobile) which will helps us to move in front of our team.

We will be able to walk against shooters which has the effect to force them to attack you in melee. Then we can begin to Crowd Control them.

Of course, our special shield skill will help if we are out of stamina to continue our tanking job and a lot of other situations.
 

2 - Crowd Control hordes and big monsters.

 

Just after tanking, we have to CC enemies. Our shield is again our best weapon for this job !

 

  • On little foes => Heavy attack + light attack combo
  • On bigger foes => heavy attacks to stagger them with our muscles.

 

In melee, when we are CC enemies, we will take damages from anything,

that's why we choose “Non-Stop Violence” for our ultimate and “Die Hard” in our talent. We recover our thoughness and go again for CC them.
 

3 - Support your team and be ready to revive them as fast as u can.

 

When its comes to support your team, it's not only about reviving them. In fact, the talent "Loyal Protector" makes you the best guy for reviving your mates that's why we choose “Revive speed” on curious. We complete this support role by increasing mates damages on Crowd Control.

That's why we will choose “Skullcrusher” and “Thunderstrick” on our shield and “Shattering Impact on our gauntlet.

This will helps our team to clean bigger monsters.

 

conclusion

This gameplay is, of course, the ideal situation. But i think in harder threat (T4-T5), we have to play as team and try our best to stay useful for each of us.

I think if everybody does his job correctly, this gameplay can work.

Im not the best, im just trying to understand and apply simple but efficient things.

 

With this build i feel useful for my team and that's what i'm aiming for.
