Recon Lasgun build!
Hello My name is Mr.Muddy and welcome to my reconlasgun build
Why Recon lasgun?
It is a very fun gun to use and deceptively strong! Although it has its share of downsides. This build can shred shooters and deal high damage to reapers and if you can aim even bulwarks. But this build fails at dealing with mutants crushers
How to play with this build
It is very tempting to shoot this gun into a crowd of poxwalkers because it is very satisfying but we have to remember that this gun eats through ammo. It is best to keep reconlasgun ammo for shooters and specials meanwhile using powersword to deal with crowd's mutants and crushers. Get used to firing in bursts with 2-3 well placed bullets to the head we can take down shooters very easily even if they survive burn stacks will melt them.
Boss killer
Reconlasgun deals very low damage compared to veterans other guns. But thanks to infernus we can stack burn dots and with usage of Frag storm feat we can stack bleeds + burn on a boss and watch it melt! It is not the fastes boss killer but it will deal significant damage over time to a boss.
Damnation Viable?
YES! but keep that in mind with this build you will be very ammo hungry and won't be able to deal with mutants very effectively. Be mindfull of your Ammo and fellow rejects do not hog all the ammo!
Sniper vs Demoliton stock pile
Both feats are good. Sniper can give us little bit more damage when it comes to taking down reapers and long range specialist while Demolition stock pile gives us free grenades. It is up to you what to choose but i prefer Sniper for the extra added damage i usually keep my bombs for tougher targets. If you see a pile of reapers that are bunched up together throw a grenade shoot them couple of times to get burn stacks and just watch as they melt by your Dots!
Power cycler?! Are you insane! It's a rare blessing!
It is not a must but it is very nice to have! Powersword by it self is a very good weapon. Slaughterer will help the meele damage after 5 stacks you won't even need to use the special activation of the weapon to kill horde's
