Ogryn Stab - and then Stab AND STAB. when all ogryn has is a pointy fix everything by stabby.

Cleaver - pick your favorite mark, all work well. IV is best single target, and still does just fine into hordes.

Perks:

  • Flak - great for stabbing elites and difficult to kill enemies
  • Elite - Better elite killing is always good. Unyielding is a fine option here to deal with all the Monstrosities as this will be your primary tool for that - as is Carapace

Blessings:

  • Slaughterer - best stabby blessing 100% ogryn approved- only decent power/damage blessing available.
  • Confident strike - Just more toughness, really good into bosses - hard to go wrong with that in Havoc. This weapon doesn't really need more Cleave in general.


Ripper: Covers the weakness of the knife: carapace

Perks: 

  • Carapace - Primarily want this for Crushers, maulers e.t.c. where our knife does very low damage.
  • Elite - For additional Crusher killing power, Unyielding Maniac or Special all work here.

Blessing:

  • Can Opener - What makes this gun a good pairing with Knife - the reason we take it.
  • Blaze Away - Decent damage increase even though I don't tend to bullet hose.

 

Loyal Protector + Go Again! has to be one of the strongest combos in the game for just becoming unkillable, combined with all the other toughness talents and you can just face tank Demon hosts by poking them in the head.


That One Didn't Count - I find Big Friendly Rock is my primary tool for killing Gunners and ranged Specialists, and this drastically increases how much the rock can be used. However if you want to use Rumbler more -
