Talent Tree
Description
Build based around maximising Critical Chance and related buffs to proc Surge for devastating damage.
Voidstrike Staff:
- For your staff second blessing, it's best to go with Warp Nexus for even more surge crits. But if you can't have it or if you struggle managing peril, it's fine to have Transfer Peril for very comfy peril management (True Aim node should still give you plenty Surge procs).
- The open perk is flexible. Pick either Carapace (warp charges needed to one shot headshot crushers on surge proc), Maniac to swiftly deal with Flamers and Ragers, or Unyielding for monster dps if you prefer using it over the dueling sword for some reason.
Dueling Sword:
- Use your Heavy and Special attacks to deal with close quarter threats. You're able to one/two shot mutants and other specials if you get a crit or headshot. Mostly use it to reposition otherwise and get back to lining up heads.
- Your best monster dps, use it when you're safe to engage.
Curios:
- You can drop a Max Health % for +1 Wound if you don't feel comfy without it yet (help i'm burstiiiiing).
- Perks should suit your playstyle, but I suggest a couple Sniper Resist % and more Health/Toughness %.
Abilities:
- Smite: Rarely use it unless you really need breathing room or to cover objective (Hab-Dreyko finale anyone ?). Voidstrike offers plenty of control already and can even stun Monstruosities on headshot.
- Telekine Dome: Try not to spam it, you'll need the Warp Charges to ramp up your damage. It also nullifies every enemy projectile, even if you are both inside the bubble. It also means the Beast of Nurgle can't vomit on you (and thus eat you) leaving it basically harmless! Use it to your advantage.
