Description
"If you wanted to see what max toughness looks like this is it"
Build
Build is focused on taking aggro and staggering enemies. Great build when in tough situations. High survivability.
Empty slots are flex.
Gameplay
Try to keep your party alive using taunt when you see a lot of specials. Your main weapon you should be using is shield while spamming light attacks and heavy attacks. Use light attacks to restore your taunt by staggering enemies and heavy attacks to restore your toughness when needed.
Taunt
When taunting DON'T use shield special but instead spam light and heavy attacks to restore your taunt charge again. "BUT WHY TAUNT WHEN I JUST KILL THE ENEMIES MYSELF" Yes your taunt is to take aggro to yourself so it sounds wrong just whacking the enemies by yourself with light and heavy attacks when you could be using shield special to block but you are generating more uptime for your taunt this way while keeping those pesky ragers off your team and doing damage at the same time. When you are surrounded by ragers and maulers and your toughness is gone then it's the only good time for shield special, but beware of grenadiers and flamers. Taunt won't work on demonhosts or monstrosities.
Blocking
Using shield to block and push enemies and ranged enemies will cause them to aggro. When ranged enemies get aggroed they will stop shooting and instead try to push you with melee making it easy to dispose of them. Gunners won't try to rush you with melee but at least they wont try to shoot your teammates.
Shield
Shield is a perfect tool for staggering enemies and aggroing enemies with guns while blocking. You can use shield special to block snipers attack. You can also mitigate all damage except corruption from demonhost with shield special attack but you rarely get to use this unless you aggro the demonhost yourself. Which... you shouldn't.
Secondary
You can use whatever you like as a secondary as long as you can kill some specials with it because shield doesn't do much damage against specials.
Keystone
Build uses "Feel No Pain" which in turn gives you damage resistance and toughness replenishment. Keystone loses charges when taking HEALTH damage that's why we stack as much toughness as we can because you don't want to be losing health to lose charges.
The Good
- Excellent survivability due to high toughness and toughness restoration.
- Taking aggro from your team when cornered.
- High crowd control with shield staggering.
- Easy to clutch revives when communicating with team using taunt.
- Really good at focusing objectives due to high toughness resisting interrupts.
The Bad
- Very bad at killing enemies at range.
- Specials like sniper and tox flamer destroy toughness instantly leaving you vulnerable.
- Really bad overall damage.
Note. Build isn't optimized at any way and made it just for fun. You can change stuff around anyway you like.
