TGracchus's Soulblaze Support Psyker

This is a build that specializes in horde clear and party healing.  The purgatus staff's burn DoT is an instance of soulblaze, otherwise achievable with the "Perilous Combustion" perk.  This means that all buffs to soulblaze also buff the purgatus staff.  The build excels at clearing hordes on damnation with little effort, which should not surprise anyone given the staff choice.  
  
The real purpose of the build, however, is using the warp charges generated by these kills (using "In Fire Reborn") to drastically reduce the cooldown of your bubble, which in turn replenishes your teammates toughness and blocks ranged fire.  
  
So the combat cycle goes: burn until you have 6 stacks of warp charges, drop bubble where it's needed most, immediately start burning enemies again.  
  
The purpose of the dueling sword is the ease with which it dispatches both mutants and ragers. It also isn't too shabby against crushers in a pinch.  
  
Brain Burst's purpose is long range elite removal.  Smite would be redundant with the purgatus, and assail is only good for harming targets which the purgatus and dueling sword already counter easily.  
  
"Quietude" is your primary source of toughness for yourself, outside of the bubble.  As your peril increases in the fight and you spend it, your toughness will reliably refill and you can even fill up to full quickly without any allies in coherency.
