Divider

The Ogryn build for just pounding the heck out of heretics. Can be used with Club III or any cleaver, anything that MOSTLY wants to light attack.

PIckaxe (Pick your favorite)

Perks:

  • Flak - Lots of elite enemies are flak, and Scab/Dreg bruisers both have flak armor as well
  • Elite - The enemy type we always want more help killing

Blessings:

  • Head Hunter - Easy to stack. Slaughterer is fantastic as well. Can also replace with Confident Strike / Slow and Steady for more defensive options

  • Thrust - This with Elite and Crunch will allow for Crusher and Mauler one shots head shots on heavy attacks and massive monster damage.

     

Gauntlet

Perks:

  • Flak - For gunner oneshots
  • Maniac - Helps with Flamer body shot one shots and can one shot head shot mutants.

Blessings:

  • PinPoint - Allows for Gunner and Flamer 1 shot body shots (depending on weapon stats) normally about 2~ stacks. Best damage option by a lot.
  • Glory Hunter - helps to gain some Toughness at range, you don't need any assistance killing armored targets with the Pickaxe so Shattering impact isn't needed.

Heavy Hitter is ironically best with Hybrid weapons, like Pickaxe  because the 10% attack rate only helps with the actual swing animation, benefitting light attacks more than heavy.
