Key Points of the Build:

  • Ripper-Gun Mk II is the most Ammo Efficient Ripper-Gun among all Marks
  • Ripper-Gun is Excellent against all Elites & Specials; Bracing can kill all elites very fast except Crushers. For Crushers use your special attack (stab) to reduce their Armor and then shoot them without ADS
  • Ripper-Gun is Excellent against Boss Shields; It will Destroy Karnan Twins
  • Difference with Heavy Stubbers:
    - Ripper-Gun is better against Elites. Definitely Better against Crushers
    - Heavy Stubber is better against Bosses.
    - Ripper-Gun has less Ammo but is more Versatile (reload speed, equip speed) than Heavy Stubbers
  • Use Heavy Cleaver IV for Hordes.

        - This is your way of dealing with Crushers. Do this: Stab them 1 time then fire your weapon

 

Melee Weapon: 
- Use Heavy 1 + Light for Single Target Damage
- Use Heavy 2 + Light for Cleave Damage
- To access your Heavy 2 you can do a Push Attack into Heavy 
- Use Cleaver for Hordes, Single Elites/Specials and/or when out of Ammo

  • Krourk Cleaver IV
    • Perks: 
      1. Flak
      2. Unarmored (or Maniac)
    • Blessings: 
      1. Slaughterer - Must pick
      2. Confident Strike (or Savage Sweep)

 

Curios:
- Perk: Toughness or HP
- Blessings: 

  • Stamina Regen
  • Toughness Regen
  • Ability Cooldown Reduction (because PBB CD is 80s)

 

Stimms:

  1. Combat Stimm (Red) - Damage
  2. Concentration Stimm (Yellow) - CD reduction

You can sacrifice 2 points from Toughness Boost / Toughness Damage Reduction Nodes for either of the following:

  1. Unstoppable Momentum + Massacre

Build Synergies:

 

 Toughness:

  • Lynchpin (Passive): +50% Toughness Replenishment from Coherency
  • Bullet Bravado (Ability Modifier): +12% Toughness for each Rumbler Shot & Reload
  • Feel No Pain (Keystone): Up to +25% Toughness Replenishment & +25% Damage Reduction
  • Curios: +90% Toughness Regen
  • Towering Presence (Passive): +50% Coherency Radius
  • Heavyweight (Passive): 30% Damage Resistance against Bulwark, Crushers, Reapers, Plague Ogryns
  • Won't Give In (Passive): 20% Damage Reduction for each Downed Ally
  • Delight in Destruction (Passive): 10% Damage Resistance for each bleeding enemy (stacks 6 times)
  • Nodes (Passive): 30% Toughness Damage Reduction 
  • Nodes (Passive): +70 flat toughness

Damage:

  • Reloaded and Ready (Passive): +12% Damage for 6s after Reloading
  • Soften then Up (Passive): Enemies you damage take +15% damage from you
  • Coward Culling (Aura): +20% Damage against Suppressed Enemies
  • Point-Blank Barrage (Ability): +25% Ranged Attack Speed / -70% Reload Time
  • Light'Em Up (Ability Modifier): 2 Burn Stacks per shot during PBB
  • Dominate (Passive): +15% Rending after killing an Elite (10s)
  • Nodes (Passive): +5% Ranged Damage / +5% Melee Damage

Tips:

  • Blaze Away works great when you Aim (ADS).
  • You want to fire in ADS mode as much as possible.
  • Only use normal (non-ADS) fire mode when you want to kill Crushers after stabbing them or when you want to kill an Elite/Special in front of you quickly. Spamming non-ADS has too much sway.
  • Point-Blank Barrage Reloads your weapon
    - You can fire your entire magazine then activate PBB and continue shooting (do that against boss shields)
  • Toughness Regen (Curios):
    - How it works: It reduces the time needed for your toughness to start replenishing from Coherency after leaving combat (after stop taking damage)
    - It used to increase the amount of Toughness Replenished but it was OP and it got Nerfed around Patch#12
