You are a Ninja that is powered by S P E E D. The premise of this build is based around moving quickly and freely, and honing in on dangerous targets with prejudice. The Mk VI Heavy sword has very consistent, powerful downward heavy attacks that will almost always deliver a killing blow to all human-sized elites and specialists when struck in their weak spot. (not maulers)

You will mostly be chopping heads in this build. A lot of your utility lies in dodging chaff and slow moving targets to move in on Gunner packs, Flamers and Bombers putting them in melee range, and taking them out one by one, easing the suppression on your team, never allowing their literal and proverbial flame to make your team sweat.

Another way this build can be used in a more support role is swiftly taking care of those pesky 10+ rager packs, as this sword is capable of stopping their attack sequence with its special move, as well as one-shotting them with a chop to the head. (protect your back pedaling psykers and veterans.)

You get some special regeneration through invocation of death, but don't expect the type of regen you would get from the typical crit build. Duelist will help bolster your special regen as you will be dodging frequently.

This is a high-risk/high-reward build, without taking the loner perk, so at times when you're flanking gunner packs etc. you have to stay very aware of your surroundings, while not losing sight of your targets.

One downside to the mk vi heavy sword is not being able to deal a lot of damage to multiple enemies at once. In these scenarios of mixed packs or large hordes, simply retreat with your blistering speed, whip out your flamer, and go to town.

I have also had success with the revolver, as it's never a bad option to quickly pull out and eliminate that sniper or gunner pinning your team down.

I initially made this build because I was curious about weapons I've been chronically avoiding in all my time playing this game, and I just happened to fall in love with this sword.

If you like playing knife zealot then I recommend you give this a try. It's like a different flavor. You remain very swift and agile, while taking chastise the wicked instead of shroudfield, giving you that extra burst of speed to close in as well as some inherent stun potential and on-demand toughness regeneration.

Hope you try it out and enjoy it!
