2.5-4% Bonus Critical Chance on Chained Hit. Stacks 5 times.
Gain 7-10% Close Damage for 3.5 seconds after killing an enemy at close range, stacking 5 times.
5-6.5% Strength for 3.5s on Close Range Kill.
This is a strong melee build I created for vet. It somewhat struggles against packs of ranged elites, but using the agripinaa BA can help mitigate ramged attacks by scaring the shit out of any and all ranged enemies bar shotgunners.
Basically swap back and forth between chainsword and your BA when agile engagement runs out. Furthermore, Competitive Urge procs somewhat frequently, and it pairs nicely with agile engagement, netting a +45% damage increase with your chainsword and braced auto.
I like using the mk 4 chainsword over the mk 13 due to the mk4 having a better horde clear move set with its broad heavy swings. However, the Mk13 has an easier time hitting oneshots against bruisers with its first two heavy swings; its rev attack is also stronger than the mk4's rev attack.
The curios are setup for mostly increased toughness. I'm not really picky about curio choices, but more toughness means more uptime with Iron Will.
