Do you want to play something other than always running with a Plasma or other hard-hitting ranged weapon? You always thought the Chain Axe was pretty dope, but feels kinda slow to use... well here we are, unleash your inner heretic and turn your Veteran from a controlled and skilled Soldier into a Bloodlusting Chain Axe swinging Khorne Accylote.
The Core of this build is our Key Stone 'Weapons Specialist', which turns the Chain Axe from ok-ish to a spinning monstrosity of death. All you need is a single kill with your ranged weapon before you switch to your melee weapon and in combination with the Trench Fighter, you get a massive 25% attack speed bonus. And since we got Wide swings on the Chain Axe with the introduction of the MK. XII varient you are extremely good at cleaving hordes, add to that, that you don't need to activate your weapon special for any kind of soft Elite target, a heavy overhead does the job perfectly, not to mention that you one shot Crushers with a special attack activated Heavy attack and you have all the tools to gloriously bath in the blood of your enemies.
I highly recommend a Ranged Weapon that can quickly kill in close Combat and on range. That's why I go with an Infantry Auto gun, but in the end, that part is really up to you. Pick a ranged weapon you are comfortable with, one that gives you the feeling you can tackle that one pesky Gunner Elite at range while also quickly getting your one kill close up to switch back to your melee weapons.
Now go and watch how blood pools around you and how skulls get added to the Skull throne, this is not for your typical Accylote, this is for those that always had a little bit of Khorne in them.
