Description
Duelling sword is an extremely versatile option with superb killing power using Thrust+Uncanny Strike enhanced heavy stab weakspot hits, plus adequate horde clear vs mixed hordes. With +25% carapace, full stacks of Thrust (3) + Uncanny Strike (5) + Desperado it's possible to reliably one-shot crushers.
Recon VIc is viable with specific key talents:
- 5% crit
- Onslaught
- Rending Strikes
- Shock Trooper
It's ammo efficient and can deal with mixed hordes with reasonable ttk on any target. I'm not in love with the Veteran keystones, so I didn't take them and I haven't missed them. A more elite player can probably offer better choices and spot the mistakes I'm sure I made somewhere, but this build has proven viable and fun.
