+7.5-15% Weak Spot Damage. Weakspot Kills also ignore Enemy Hit Mass.
+10-25% Rending vs Staggered Enemies.
+5-8% Strength for every 10% of magazine spent during continuous fire. Stacks 5 times.
Gain +7-10% Close Damage for 3.5 seconds after killing an enemy at close range, stacking 5 times.
This has been my favorite build for pretty much forever. The build makes use of Slab Shields Heavy 1 -> Block Cancel "combo" to horde-clear and delete close ranged elites, while making use of Ripper 5's hipfire's secret trait, which has incredibly high minimum pellet count letting you crossmap Trappers and Snipers with it. Mk5 Ripper applies two stacks of Light 'em up per shot while braced, letting you easily kill every boss on Auric Damnation with two magazines under the effects of Point Blank Barrage. This means not just is this build extremely versatile, it also matches your typical Achylys PBB build in boss DPS.
The main purpose of Big Friendly Rock is to delete Mutants and grant us access to the Slam talent. Slam gives our Slab Shield more consistency in triggering Oppertunist and is overall more impactful than Soften Them Up. You can opt. into taking Frag Bomb if it's your preference, but you'd be losing out on your ability to easily delete Mutants whenever they're in your view.
Not exceptional, but still useful when mag dumping elites and shooters. Mostly taken due to point constraints.
Fantastic ability that gives this build the capacity to easily delete bosses and hordes of elites that Auric likes to throw at you often. With the Mk5 Ripper you're able to dump two braced magazines while in PBB which is more than enough for any elite pack and enough for any boss.
