General Tips

  • Dodge sliding is an important skill to learn for this build since you'll often be braced for long periods of time
    • I.e., By combining a dodge with crouch, you go a bit further and evade ranged damage
  • You can push almost instantly after swapping to melee. 
    • Abuse this against dogs and urgent melee threats that are in range

Weapon Tips

  • Power Maul
    • 2nd Perk options { Carapace, Maniac, Unyielding }
    • Spam light attacks for toughness
    • This weapon has ginormous Crowd Control (CC) potential
      • Spam Light attacks for better toughness regen and faster access to the next stagger
      • Heavy attack less frequently when you have time or can Special for a huge amount of AoE CC
    • Single-target damage: ( Special > Light > Light ) repeat
  • MKII Heavy Stubber
    • 2nd Blessing options { Opening Salvo, Deadly Accurate, Glory Hunter }
    • In this build, bracing gives toughness regen to stand off against ranged threats
    • Be deliberate, wait for the gun to settle, and pop heads
    • Point Blank Barrage can be used to reload instantly. 
      • You can often skip reloading altogether by using your ability once you run out of ammo
