A build 'inspired' by my veteran, and the while ago update to Boltguns that made them actually good and feel good to use. With the 'throw knife to ignore the long pull out time' trick for Boltguns, you can be a 'scuffed veteran' by also taking Sainted Gunslinger for the increased reload speed. It makes the weapon feel rather good to use, especially when coupled with the other forms of damage increase gained from Chorus and Judgment. Ironhelm is mainly used as a relatively decent source of waveclear, and a 'bit of variety'. Since it isn't crit based, it allows me to ignore that side of things, and focus entirely on just making my Boltgun feel as good as possible. It has some issues in the DR department, but you more often than not have enough toughness regen via chorus, second wind and kills to compensate. Just dodge around, bonk things hard, and gun down any large thing with a massive damage speargun.
