Description
Posting this up after some guys in-game wanted to know the build I was using after mowing down almost an entire wave of enemies. I use this on Auric.
I find this is just enough melee for a gun centric build. The handful of melee talents give enough extra damage and resist to help this along while maintaining as much range damage output as possible, plus, you're putting bleed on enemies which is supportive for other Ogryns and Zealots. I use either Branx or Borovian pickaxe, depending on how much single vs multi target I want, respectively, and what kind of attack speed / combinations I want to deal with but I generally go Borovian for easier horde clear and it's quicker.
Reloaded and Ready - might seem like a weak pick if not using the Rumbler or Kickback but it's a matter of how well you time your reloads and Point-Blank Barrage reloads your gun every time. You could also swap this one out for a little more melee or resist. The Best Defense, Strongman, Implacable, or the +5% toughness resist node for defense. Frenzied Blows or again, Implacable on the melee front. Dominate also gives you more rending if that suits your fancy. Confident Strike on the pickaxe could be swapped out if you're taking The Best Defense. Movement or weapon swap is not worth it on this build (Unstoppable Momentum and Dedicated Practice).
Concentrate - This could be swapped out too in consideration of the above but I find it's nice for nailing those long shots more reliably (fucking snipers).
Curios - You could switch up some of the curious as you see fit but I find this works best. You could go more stamina and less toughness and health if you think you're fine on damage intake.
It's up for debate whether or not Light'em Up or Hail of Fire is better, as they did nerf the max burn stacks but I'm liking Hail of Fire better right now. Feels about the same on bosses.
