Talent Tree
Description
Build Tweaks and Variations
- Achlys Mk VIII Combat Axe
- Nomanus Mk VI Electrokinetic Force Staff
- Either Transfer Peril or Warp Nexus
- Curios
- Keep the ability cooldown reduction at all costs. The remaining slots are largely preferential.
- Talent Tree
- There are 2 free nodes to tweak the build functionality.
- Disrupt Destiny can be changed to use one fewer node by taking only Lingering Influence for one extra point at the cost of a decent chunk of damage.
- DO NOT TAKE Warp Splitting!!!
- The axe has basically 0x cleave.
- 0.0 * 2.0 is still zero...
Using the Axe
The Combat Axe on Psyker is really weird, but actually can hold its own when you stack up Finesse from Disrupt Destiny and Scrier's Gaze. It excels at getting a ton of headshot kills--quelling a ton of peril through By Crack of Bone and making Scrier's retention easy while chopping up hoards.
Hoard Clear Combos
- { Heavy -> Light -> Push Attack } (Repeat)
- { Heavy -> Push Attack } (Repeat)
- This one will eat up your stamina but is a bit safer for dicey situations
Single Target Combos
- Ragers: { Special -> Light -> Light } (Repeat)
- Crushers: Light (x1) -> { Heavy } (Repeat)
- Bulwarks: Light spam is generally best.
- Try to use the Nomanus Mk VI Electrokinetic Force Staff charge attack instead.
- { Gunners, Shotgunners, Specialists }:
- Just light spam their head lol
- Hoard Clear Combo works great if they're mixed into crowds
- Nomanus Mk VI Electrokinetic Force Staff is generally used for these enemies.
- It suppresses them near instantly
- You're invulnerable to ranged damage after your first crit hit (1st or 2nd hit usually)
- Bosses: Light spam because it's faster. Use heavies when the boss is not moving unpredictably.
