Crit Chance

If maxing Crits through Shred, Prescience and Scrier's we're sitting around 72% Crit Chance (Psyker, Taxe, Shred, Prescience, Operative Modifier, Scrier's). That's almost 3/4 of our melee hits that will be Crits.

The Role of Crits

Now that we've established Crit Chance, let's examine how Crits affect our build. Crits will provide speed boost through Mettle, toughness gen through Mettle, damage through Perfect Timing, Scrier's, or Destiny and dodging through Empathic Evasion - boosted by Anticipation.

While it's still very possible to go down instantly from an Overhead, these buffs from Crits provide insane survivability and allow us to focus on hacking down enemies, even when other classes might not be able to due to not having Empathic protection from Gunners. That said, we're no slouch in the damage department.

Damage

Starting at the top of the tree, working our way down -

Perfect Timing - 15%

Malefic Momentum - 25%

Scrier's - 30%

Precognition - 30% to Weakspot and Crits

Warp Rider - 20% at 75%+ Peril

Perfectionism DD - 25% Damage, 50% Crit Damage, 62.5% Weakspot Damage. Destiny buffs can exist simultaneously, meaning a Crit Weakspot hit is actually 137.5% Damage.

So, we're in Scrier's at 75% Peril in the thick of a mixed horde filled with potential DD targets. We're not using Electrokinetic because we want to max our Scrier's Damage and we can ignore 90% of ranged enemies because of our 3/4 Crit Chance proccing Empathic.

Let's assume all our Destiny buffs are stacked, we're not counting Malefic because to get all our Scrier's buffs we've avoided using Warp attacks for over 8s. With all that said, we're sitting around 232% Damage increase on 72% of our attacks if we're hitting Weakspots. That's over Triple our base damage.

To truly get the most out of this build, we need to be spending as much time as possible in the thick of it whacking enemies on the head with Taxe. Malefic and Kinetic Flayer will help improve our damage while we're not in Scrier's (though Flayer works up until 100% Peril).

Electrokinetic

Electrokinetic should be used when not in Scrier's to quickly eliminate Specialists, suppress Gunners/Reapers, stop Crusher/Mauler overheads on teammates, control Crusher packs and open Bulwark shields for teammates. Otherwise, it's Taxe rushing with slide spam to constantly close the gap.

Monstrosities

For Monstrosities, keep in mind we're going to lose Disrupt Destiny stacks quickly while we focus on a Monstrosity. If possible, it's better for us to focus on containing any approaching Elites, Specs or hordes while our Ogryns and Zealots deal the big damage to Monstrosities. That said, if we need to and there's no approaching Specs etc, we can deal decent damage by utilizing our dodges mixed with Taxe push attacks onto the Weakspot.
