WIP Build! Mostly playing around with early and final tier passives; blitz, ability, and keystones feel pretty set.
I'm really liking the Riot Shield gameplay with both the shock maul and the eponymous Subductor shotpistol, so while this will probably be far from what metaheads are chasing, I'm intending for this to push the limits of the shown kit in particular. What we lose in the company of our doggo partner, we gain in buffs that further enhance our ability to be a deadly frontline with loads of stagger and an incredibly flexible blitz.
Inhabitants of Tertium, this is Arbitrator Honorine. In case you have forgotten, this hive city operates under the same rules as the rest of the Imperium. The Admonition are not the law... I am the law. The Admonition are but common cultists; guilty of sedition, heresy, and of the spread of Nurgle's heretical teachings, and as of now, under sentence of death. Any who obstruct me in carrying out my duty will be treated as an accessory to their crimes... you have been warned. And as for the cultists... Judgement Time.
The Arbites Grenade, while unspecialized and slightly lacking in damage and control when in comparison to the Veteran's deadly explosives or Zealot's holy munitions, makes up for in high uptime and responsiveness. It's effective for staggering Elites and Monstrosities, as well as clearing an opening within a horde, and as an impact grenade with respectable AoE, there's much less mental math involved when throwing it, especially over longer distances. With 5 total grenades (+1 and 60s regen from Lone Wolf keystone), this means you have an effective CC tool for every major fight and coverage for you and your teammates' ability downtime.
A deceptively simple gap closer which comes packaged with high AoE stagger and 25% damage and 50% impact buffs for the immediate follow-up. The Arbitrators have access to several stagger/impact passives to enhance their frontline potential across the board, an amount rivaling even that of the Ogryn's lumbering and powerful arsenal, and while the Arbitrator's Maul & Shield by itself has impact in absolute spades to deal with smaller groups, Break The Line is the Subductor's best opener for charging into the thickest hordes to deliver the poor souls their mercy sanctions.
While the Lone Wolf keystone may sacrifice the presence of our best doggo partners for some marginally decent buffs, the toughness damage reduction, attack speed, and damage bonuses still synergize with the Subductor's role as a dedicated frontliner. The one unique benefit is one extra blitz and 60s regen, giving us plenty of options to CC a major fight in the event our abilities and melee attacks cannot.Terminus Warrant is the Veteran's Weapon Specialist made simple - maybe even better. Both Melee Justice and Ranged Justice stacks are easy to maintain and activate for the metric karkton of buffs to both your weapons, and while the focus of this build is for melee to shine in particular, Ranged Justice enhances the snappy and reactive use of Exterminator Shotguns and Subductor Shotpistols for when something pesky is hiding in the enemy backline. The cleave of both the Arbitrator's signature ranged weapons will have enough for you to trigger Melee Justice stacks in just a few shots into a horde, working as an effective opener to boost your melee before heading into the fray.
