The Fixer Havoc Party member 

- generalized individual capability not reliant on others

- provides excellent team support role via battlefield management to smooth out the other members of fireteams more specialized roles

Build Notes:
Can switch [part of the squad] to [breaking dissent] & pickup [rebreather] or something else, depending on the need / party make-up.
- I just personally like the extra TDR and replenishment from [Canine Morale]


Other notes:

- I expect brittleness to be provided by a bubble Psyker’s inferno staff, hence no rending. Not guaranteed, but they’re the best at it due to conr-aoe application. (Good combo with aoe bleed from dog on knock away pounce)

- Role is limited for bulk ranged threat neutralization, the dog can handle straggling threats. Ideally a Vet will be providing that, or neutralized via bubble Psyker

- I’ve used Forceful over EO due to uptime on bosses, as well as marginal impact to CD reduction on BTL. It’s better defensively which this build is framed around, while providing a significant damage boost when needed. (The damage boost isn’t melee specific, so you can switch to the Bolter for +50% damage to dump a mag into a boss).

Party awareness is uber-critical to the success of this role

Playstyle 

  1. Circle around your most fragile party members and allow them to shine
     
  2. Use [shield flash] & [break the line] liberally (melee wep alt fire & ability) to keep things stunned and staggered
    - shield alt-fire is woefully under-utilized and is busted for the amount you can use it and how it affects everything but big monstrosities
     
  3. Block push liberally also, to trigger 75% extra cleave. 
     
  4. Peel one of the Twins from the group when spawning during the mission, solo tank it away from the party. (This is YOUR job)
    - you have tons of toughness replen. while blocking and can still easily solo their entire heath bar. [Confident Strike] blessing triggers on void shield hits.
    - If peeling ranged twin, move around and pop the corruption mines they throw down to clean the space up for the team. Very few people do this and it ends up occupying the whole room
    - Due to this performed role, Nuncio Aquila is pointless. As your team isn’t nearby.
     
  5. Reserve the bolter for monstrosities / twin** shield downs / major shit shows
    ** not the captain: due to how their void shields work: captains are damage based before recovery, and twins are time based. This allows more concentrated damage on twins.
     
  6. Use your dog to hunt disablers while stuck in a melee maelstrom (recommend ‘Dog Whistle’ mod if you’re not great at targeting them). As well as interrupt bosses with their blitz. 

Bottom line: 

- you can still output major damage / melee cleave with no armor type weakness 

- you prevent damage to your team (via stagger/knockdowns and literally shielding them, ie when someone is picking up a down player under fire)

- as well as being able to solo survive forever

- it’s important to bring something to the table for your team when you don’t have gold toughness / taunt / bubble / ammo replenishment etc etc.
