Description
Mark, shout and shoot.
Bonus points if you can stack Skullcrusher while at it. It's rather simple: Lob a Krak Grenade on the monstrosity, as it staggers from the blast hit it with your Catachan Mk VII "Devil's Claw" Sword and as you swap to your Locke Mk IIb Spearhead Boltgun you then use Voice of Command and profit, I mean, unload it all. This whole set up take mere seconds as you get used to it.
If you're out of ammo you can just spam kraks on bosses as most people are doing nowadays. If you're out of kraks you shoot them with the bolter. If out of both then you just hit them with the sword, the skullcrusher blessing plus the bleed from Serrated Blade and the marking from Focus Target! will make short work of most bosses, the Precision Strikes, Marksman and Close Quarters Killzone will help you along the way.
The Catachan Mk VII "Devil's Claw" Sword is very underated. It can easily get you through havoc 40 and is great against everything except crushers but thats what the krak grenades are for. And even if you're out, you'll still have a faily easy time kiting away from them and killing them off with the Push Attack into Light 1 into Heavy attack combo and loop. As you ease into the playstyle you'll notice yourself saving your kraks for elite/crusher hordes and leaning into meleeing all the bosses while using the bolter to snipe specials or when you need to "insta pop" a boss out of the equation.
The blessing Wrath can be swapped out for Shred
With this build you can even ditch the bolter completely and/or swap out Fully Loaded for Desperado for more melee damage.
You also have melee weapon options in the form of the shovels, i prefer the basic Munitorum Mk I Sapper Shovel, the combat knifes Catachan Mk VI Combat Blade/ Catachan Mk III Combat Blade, the Maccabian Mk IV Duelling Sword obviously and the veteran exclusives Aridin Mk I Power Falchion / Lawbringer Mk IIb Power Falchion / Scandar Mk III Power Sword / Achlys Mk VI Power Sword. You can also use the Agni Mk Ia Shock Maul / Munitorum Mk III Shock Maul since they also have the Skullcrusher blessing but they don't feel as hard hitting as all of the above but for the purpose of this build they work ok.
