The goal is to spam Loyal Protector over and over again, better be good with Pickaxe horde fighting (hint: alternate R2L light and L2R heavy attacks, be sure to charge the heavy attack as long as possible for Thrust).
Shoot the Rumbler, immediately start attacking,
Pull aggro with loyal protector
Beat things about until loyal protector refills
Activated heavy overhead strike anything big that comes in.
In the longer fights (after two or more uses of loyal protector), you need to reload and fire the Rumbler again mid-fight in order to reactive reactive Spray and Pray and debuff heavies. It usually best to time the reload immediately after hitting loyal protector, the push-back effect is just long enough to get a reload in.
And if you have some way to replenish grenades then you can take the Frag Bomb instead.
