Description
Build Design & Reasoning
This talent and weapon setup was made to accomplish 1 thing: kill things with Science and a Enginseer's Mk VI Crowbar, like Mr. Freeman would do! The Branx MKII Needle Pistol is brought because Science.
Stimm Labb
Needle pistol doesn't need any help to perform, so just use Stimms to ensure maximum Rampage! uptime. Can choose Vultoprene II over Fury II,just down to modifier honestly. Helps with Rotten Armour.
Weapon Alternatives
Until Scum get a plasma pistol or something, I don't see any other ranged weapon fitting the aesthetic I was going for.
Talent Alternatives and Discussion
One talent that isn't necessary but I like is Sticky Hands, more for the hipfire accuracy it gives the needle pistol more than anything. Combined with Run 'n' Gun, its pretty accurate even past 20m if needed. Toxin Mania is a solid point in tandem with Coated Weaponry and gives a good damage boost, but ultimately is overkill and could be put somewhere else if you want. I wouldn't remove Coated Weaponry though, that really helps get your stimm back quickly. It lets me pop a stim every time a Rotten Armour pack shows up for the rending and still have one if I end up with Rampage! on cooldown. Forge's Bellow is just a QoL point, not necessary but useful in pubs. If you want a more consistent Adrenaline Frenzy, pick up both Adrenaline Assassin and Adrenaline Smiter. This combo gives +16 stacks with a single weakspot Elite kill. If you kill 2 with the same weakspot hit, you immediately activate Adrenaline Frenzy. This combo is really solid, especially with something like the Turtolsky Mk VII Heavy Sword, but ultimately with the crowbar, it means you wasted 2 talent points to make an "okay" damage buff more consistent. IMO, not worth it given how powerful some of the class' other talents are. You could honestly forgo the keystone entirely if you want and just stack more melee damage. Just don't add Hyper-Violence, it can't work when using Hyper-Critical. Which is fine, you get a lot more out of Hyper-Violence with this build. It shaves off 1-2 hits alone in Rotten Armour
