Build Design & Reasoning

Enhanced Desperado. Infinite ammo + tons of damage. The cornerstone of this build and the reason why ranged Scum is absolutely mental. Just enough melee talents to make most weapons you would want on a ranged-centric build useful on Havoc 40.

Stimm Labb

Can choose Vultoprene II  over Fury II, ultimately depends on what weapon you are running and what you're using your ranged weapon for. I tend to use my stim solely for keeping uptime on Desperado, but if you want to use them in tandem, opting for Reflex   isn't a bad option and can turn any ranged weapon into a laser beam.

Weapon Alternatives

Honestly, I've ran this build with most weapons and it will absolutely work with anything so long as you can aim. Take anything, you'll still kick ass. Personal favorite is the Branx MkVIII Dual Stub Pistols, BiS would probably be between Crucis Mk XI Double-Barrelled Shotgun and the Branx MkIII Dual Autopistols. I chose the Atrox Mk VII Tactical Axe because its fun and it provides excellent mobility and damage without much reliance on melee talents.

Talent Alternatives

Take what you want, the only things you really want to make sure to take is Pick Your Targets, Pickpocket, Speedloader, and Voice of Tertium. Those 4 talents make up the backbone of the build, which just happens to be strong enough to clear H40 alone leaving with lots of room for personal preference. I like mechanics that reward dodging successfully, so I take most of those. I also try to squeeze out as much ranged damage as I can so I can bring virtually any ranged weapon I want and find success.
