Build Design & Reasoning
I wanted a melee-focused build mostly using the Enginseer's Mk VI Crowbar that could still utilize the Branx MkVIII Dual Stub Pistols , and this is the best I could come up with for my playstyle. Lots of focus on dodge, crit, and weakspot hits. Boom Bringer taken because its way cooler than a grenade regardless of performance; I was using this prebuff about 90% of the time. Crowbar is used because its Sienna's Crowbill 2.0 and a blast to use. Dual pistols are fun, good ammo cap/mag size, solid at any range (long range does take practice as you need to utilize the special for those super long-range snipers/bombers. Honestly, any weapon can excel in both slots. Based on personal preference.
Stimm Lab
Vultoprene II taken to keep crit chance above 80% at peak. Fury II can be taken instead if you value rending more. Hypex taken to help with Rampage! uptime. If managed properly, you shouldn't be in a situation where you need Rampage but don't have it. If you are confident in managing its cooldown, opting for Spur V or Fervor are good choices and can help give the build even higher highs.
Weapon Alternatives
I wouldn't recommend a perfect copy of this build with most other weapon setups. Adrenaline Frenzy is barely useful, you're far better off going for Chemical dependency and getting that +30% CDR and +15% crit. I took it simply because I didn't like running the crowbar without a good deal of talents, which meant I just couldn't afford the right keystone section.
Talent Alternatives
There aren't many ways to get more out of both of these weapons without sacrificing some QoL talents, so if you are determined to get Sample Collector and Coated Weaponry, you honestly don't lose much by just getting rid of the middle keystone entirely. You lose +10% attack speed and +25% melee damage, but gain a more consistent access to your stim as well as toxin to help with boss damage. If you are confident in your ability to stay alive and position, removing Jittery and The Sweet Spot gives you access to Chemical Dependency and Chem Enhanced.
**Note**
Do not try to combine Hyper-Critical with Hyper-Violence, they essentially cancel each other out. Violence wants you to kill an enemy with a heavy attack while they're at low health, however Hyper-Critical executes enemies once they get to low health. The damage from Hyper-Critical is separate from the hit that killed them and has 0 overkill damage, rendering Hyper-Violence all but useless. You can still get 20-30 bonus damage by killing enemies with genuine overkill damage, but its not much over the course of a game.
